"CAUSE AND EFFECT"

Hawaii had a scare...Tsunami (Tidal Wave).  


Tourist and low lying residents evacuated up to UpCountry, a higher elevation of Maui.  I haven't seen so many people up here at the 2000 ft. level...! ! !  I was glad that people drove up elevation, just in case of a massive wave.  


The reefs were exposed so many times during the day and in a minute, the ocean would cover up the exposed reef as quickly as it was unexposed.  


The roadways were filled with cars.  Cars parked everywhere even to squeeze into a narrow area, space, pastures or in between a bush.  People introducing each other, stranger's meeting stranger's, everyone talking about the moment of an impact...Tsunami.


Although there were no destruction when it was safe to go back to their homes down the hill or back to the hotel rooms, the day was meant to be kind to one another.  Something that people have forgotten in their daily busy life.


Today, there were new friends made everywhere in UpCountry, Maui...when yesterday, you wouldn't be able to get the time of day from a stranger.  We had to have a wake up call to realize that, a smile to a stranger should be returned with a smile.  Being courteous to one another should be an everyday thing.  People have forgotten to be kind to one another and is thoughtless and have been so uncaring.


I think the days event has changed so many people's lives today that maybe the people of Maui will have a caring heart and that life is..."Fragile."
